You simply can’t get a more diverse learning environment for a school camp near Brisbane than Moreton Island. Situated just 40km from Brisbane across Moreton Bay, Moreton Island is the least disturbed, large coastal sand island in South East Queensland and has a mixture of learning environments like no other.

Fraser Island is the ultimate in school camp destinations and presents a unique opportunity to study nature and the impacts of nature based recreation in a closed environment. Combining Fraser Island with a Moreton Island camp gives you the opportunity to compare the largest sand island in the world (and the most visited of the two islands) with its little sister Moreton Island (the third largest sand island in the world) and students can have discussions regarding the different levels of tourism and experiences on both.
